I am travelling, travelling.

  • NB: This was written as a song for a friend back in 2008 🙂 She asked me to try and write a song for her to play on her guitar about going to the other side of the world to visit a friend who was once held dear to the heart.

    I am Travelling, Travelling.

    I am travelling,
    Travelling,
    So far, to find you.

I don’t know what to expect
    When I see you…

    Its been so many steps,
    So many sleeps…
    So many days.

    But even so…
    I remember your face

    I don’t know what I will find,
    When I see you…
Not even sure if you will recognize me.

What if time has taken its toll?
Will you still accept me If I’m old?

    Though deep down I know
    That you have always known…
    That I was coming
    And you were not forgotten

So Wait for me, Wait for me.
    These feelings are true
    I am travelling,
    Travelling,
And I will be there soon.
