Lost a book full of poems I wrote in Christchurch
-
Hello everyone,
Yesterday at Malvern park (Here in Christchurch, its in St Albans by Kidds bakery) I lost a book, some of the papers in it were loose. It is about 14 size but had some loose a3 paper in it.
It contains around 200 poems I had yet to save on my computer. I hurt my finger a while ago so I have been writing in pencil on paper since my finger tip was cut to type. The writing is very messy and hard to read but the titles of 11 of them are
Normal
Home
Miracles
Nothing
Stupid
Light
Happiness
Inovation
Beauty
Smile
PathIf anyone finds my book or knows of someone who found a book, or spots any of the loose papers blowing around somewhere please let me know.
THANK YOU!
Also I believe this poem is written on the front page. So I am hoping that stops anyone throwing it away :)!
When the end feels close, close your eyes and say.
“Someone knows I am alive, I have a reason to be here this day.”You only need one person to know you are alive- To truly be alive,
To live you just need to be a thought or a memory.
As long as the world is there for you, you always have a purpose and reason to exist-
The world can be as small as one, but as many as thousand.
You just have to remember, that even the smallest candle in the darkest of nights can burn as bright as the sun of day.
That candle could be anything. That candle could be you. Also there is an entire story I wrote recounting what happened to me on Feburary 22nd in detail, and a lot of poems about what I saw…
Thank you everyone.
One Response and Counting...
