My huge project slowly revealed -BIG NEWS-

  • MY BIG NEWS

UPDATE: I edited the Different Bear story based on feedback and have posted it here for you all to give your opinions!

I have told you all for some time I have been working on 3 major projects. Today … the first one is slowly starting to come together. This is a collaboration with what I can say is one of the most talented emerging artist and illustrators 20 year old Jaslyn Woo, of Singapore.

Jaslyn and I have been friends online for what is probably 10 years now! (WOW IT HAS BEEN LONG) She is one of the most talented people I know and to be honest I can’t give enough for all she has done for me over the years…

Jaslyn has been assisting me with turning a certain story here titled Different Bear into an illustrated masterpiece, so that I may attempt to make my first book and finally (Even if its self published) become a published story writer so you all can finally buy a Matty Angel book.

This is very much a project for all of you who have supported me over these last years and I hope that by pursuing the goal of a published work, it will be a big enough thank you for you all. Lets hope we can take it further!

SO HERE IS PAGE 1 –  CICK IMAGE TO VIEW IN FULL 🙂

Please leave comments below if you can so that the wonderful artist can gather some feedback (And praise!)

  • That is so exciting Matty, and I love the illustration. I will most definitely be buying your book WHEN it gets published (not if). I have one grandson and two more grandchildren on the way, so they will get copies of it, and I’ll have one to keep myself! Oh – and I’m like Lucia; I’d love a signed copy!

  • Great progress matty. Believe in the dream!

  • Hi Matty, how soon can you get this published?
Would be a wonderful present at Christmas for my son who has Autism xxx
Moved me to tears, as it represents my son dearly, he is almost 5 years old.

  • Hello Cartiona : )

I can’t tell you a time as my illustrator is so busy and this is a side-project!

But I can tell you that we have hopes to work something out so soon : ) and both of us hope something is organized well before the end of the year.

It is a long Process 🙂 and without a publisher, self publishing maybe that little bit harder and longer! I am glad you like the story and believe the illustrations are beautiful. I can’t give enough praise to Jaslyn Woo for letting me borrow her amazing artistic talent for this project. = )

  • I am pleased to have met you today. The illustration is beautiful, and the story is appealing. I would like to read more.

  • Very, very sweet! I am glad “there is a bear out there for everyone!”
