Learning Patience! (Also I am going on holiday!)

Hello everyone! This is a strange poem I wrote randomly and on the spot! I first want to let you all know I am off on a wonderifically amazing holiday tomorrow and will be gone for 5 days!
I really hope you enjoy this poem, its a bit fun I think!
Learning patience
At last at last!
No more wait!
Finally now!
I am going away!My bags are ready
They have been checked twice
I packed all that I needed
And some things… well I didn’tThey are loaded in the car
I buckle down in my seat
This is it… I giggle,
My holiday is here!The car starts to rumble
Then lets out a purry roar
And then with a WOOSH
Things begin to move fastThere’s so much excitement going on around me!
The outside window is a blurr,
We past different coloured cars,
But it just seems to go on!I then fidget with the windows
I make a strange odd face
I humm an odd tune
“Are we there yet” I whine…Then with a little bit of a grumble!
And a twitchy tapping foot…
I let out a “Hmpth” …
This wasn’t what I was promised!But then before I knew it,
Unplanned and unexpected
My eyes began to drift…
Then Zzzzzz… I was a snoozeWhen at last I began to wake,
With a stretch and a “yaaawwwnnnn”
I rubbed my eyes and took a breath,
Then turn my head to window…There in front of me is a beach!
The most blue water ever seen!
The sand a beautiful gold!
Topped with a gentle breeze!I open the door so slowly,
Stepping out to this new world…
“I can’t believe it” I say to myself
This holiday is going be amazing!Its then that I realize,
That it was the wait that made it more great
That sometimes we have to be patient…
And that now doesn’t always mean best
