Meeting strangers.

  • Today I spoke to someone who made me think, so here is a quick poem 🙂

    Meeting strangers.

    She spoke her past,
    Which was so horrible
Of monsters, demons and battles continuing.

So I shared mine, bluntly… honestly
    I whispered out my soul…
    To try show individuality.

    That we all have stories,
    All have dreams…
That some of us are haunted
And life affects us all differently

    She began probing questions
    Digging deeper into my heart
But as I told her truth,
    She kept on saying sorry…

    But I didn’t understand why…
To me that made no sense
    Why would someone be sorry?
For a journey that’s been written?

    “Don’t be sorry:
    I said to her…
“Because I’m not sorry at all,
    If the sorrow didn’t happen,
I wouldn’t have the joys either.”

She took a breath of silence
Perhaps she was deep in thought
Then out of no where she erupted,

“You just made me realize something…
    goodbye I have to go”

Nice poem called Meeting Strangers. Experts say one should write about what you know about and have experienced and it sounds like you have! Good job!

  • What a wonderful thing you did for that person. I wonder what it was she thought of!

  • That is a beautiful and moving poem!
