Matty is a 36 year old girl who is an Autistic Poet, Writer and Artist and lives alone in Christchurch New Zealand with a kitty! Matty has given many talks on autism and about being unique in a world that's often not accepting, Matty has also engaged with artist and worked on Art projects Matty usually works on an Art project at the same time as a writing one! This means posts can be a bit delayed!

For anyone who wants you to be different just look them in the eye and proudly say I AM ME and smile, smile because you know yourself better than they ever will, smile because you have a kinder heart than they ever will, smile because you understand things that they never will, smile because you have people who love you for who you are an experience they will never have, smile because of your talent you ahve bought happiness and joy into the lives of others in a way that they never will, smile because you are loving, honest and gentle and they never will be, smile because you are you and they never will be
