A Painting of Words (POEM)

  • A Painting of Words (Poem)

    In silence
    In quiet
    With a long drawn breath
    The fingers start moving
    Pushing buttons so quick!

    Then upon this screen
    Which glows so bright
    Words appear
    Then…
    A kind of life!

    Soon in no time
    There are pages upon pages
    Of friendships and castles
    Dragons and space ships!
    Princes and princesses,
    Kings and Queens…
    Kingdoms so endless,
    All rich in history.

And then just as it started…
It slowly comes to a halt
    The fingers stop moving
    And what’s left is awe,
    As this painting of words
    This masterpiece of life
    Sits completed, concluded for now.
