That time

  • NB: I have a lot going on in my world right now… and have had to decide if I want to fight some things…. I wrote this… and I know its terrible but I hope it shows you all what I am thinking lately.

    That Time

There comes a time in all our lives
When we must decide if we will fight
Perhaps to challenge what has come with time
Or to face monsters that have been and gone
Only You will know this moment…
And only you can decide what you will do.
I hope though that when this moment comes
That moment of fighting or letting things go…
That you will think about those who will be affected…
For your actions change the world.

Matty, these words you write are very true.
In our lives we have to decide what things
are worth fighting for and those things that
we have to let go. There may be pain in
whatever we decide but in the end it has to
be what is best for us.

  • In life, we must all make decisions…and those decisions are often about what’s best for ourselves, but sometimes, those decisions are what’s best for an “us” as in a couple or family situation or for “another” who cannot decide because of age or inexperience or someone who will not decide because they are afraid of making a wrong choice or because they believe they or someone else could be harmed by the decision he or she makes. Some decisions can feel like the weight of the world is upon the person having to decide. In my case, I turn to God and seek His input through prayer and by listening to all sides of the decision through the advisers He sends into my life to help add clarity when my brain is clouded. After thoughtful consideration, I then based upon all the information I have at the moment. I make my decision, and stick to it so long as I’m not morally compromised.
