Friends Gone (Poem)

  • NB: I am just thinking about people a lot at the moment. I miss them.

    Friends Gone

As this year enters its final stage
I am left in thought about all that’s been
Especially those that have moved on
    And those no longer here.

    Wherever they are,
    Here or the next awaiting
    I hope they are smiling
And wish them and their families all happy and well

    But … I miss them
    Their laughing and joy
For some I think about what I did wrong
And others how I wish to talk once more

If any of those friends gone
Get a chance to hear my words from afar
Please know I welcome any hello
Or a sign from above that your still about.

  • I’m always here for you!

  • Aw, Matty, you don’t (and didn’t) do anything wrong. This world is a whirlwind and people come and go. I’ll give you a call when I get my computer working better.
