    Look around,
    What do you see?
    I see Adventures waiting for me!
    A box that is empty but can take me into space!
    A desk that’s a cave where dinosaur bones lay!
    A bed that has raced against the fastest cars ever been!
    a chest of draws that control a submarine!
    So look around
    What do you see
    I hope its adventures
    Just like me.

Matty is a 36 year old girl who is an Autistic Poet, Writer and Artist and lives alone in Christchurch New Zealand with a kitty! Matty has given many talks on autism and about being unique in a world that's often not accepting, Matty has also engaged with artist and worked on Art projects Matty usually works on an Art project at the same time as a writing one!     I love this poem, Matty! I wish all of us could keep this view of the world all the time…use our imaginations more…go on adventures of the mind! Thanks for reminding me to look at my world with different eyes!
