I feel rather lost
Confused and quite scared
Are the things of which I dream
Can they really be had?
Is there better?
Or is this it?
Do I have a future beyond “this?”
I don’t know…
I am not sure anyone knows…
But I am trying,
I am doing my best…
I am confused and quiet scared…
But I am still here.

Matty is a 36 year old girl who is an Autistic Poet, Writer and Artist and lives alone in Christchurch New Zealand with a kitty! Matty has given many talks on autism and about being unique in a world that's often not accepting, Matty has also engaged with artist and worked on Art projects Matty usually works on an Art project at the same time as a writing one! I think Vic above has said it all 🙂 There are times/days/week/months and sometimes even years that someone feels the same as you. When you look up at the stars at night remember this and believe each star is a friend who knows how you feel. hugs Rebs
