In the dark

  • NB: Sorry for posting a dark poem, but … I just so lonely lately. The darkness in this poem is loneliness.

    In the dark

    I am in the dark
    Isolated…
    Alone.

I don’t know where the light is.
    I keep looking but…
    Where is it?
How do I get the light on?

    I am crying, confused, scared…
    Is this my life now?
Will I always be in the dark?
    I hope someone comes,
    Someone with some light.

I am trying to be hopeful.
    But this darkness…
Its starting to break me down.

  • Aw, Matty, you have to accentuate the positive. You have many good friends and there are lots of things in this world to enjoy. Enjoy them! Hugs!
