From all the wishes ever wished

  • NB:My friend helped me edit this and I have worked on it on and off for 2 weeks i hope it reads okay now.

From all the wishes ever wished

If I was granted just one wish
From all the wishes ever wished
I would pluck one of the simplest
That the selfish would find childish

    The wish of calm, tranquility
A single day of peace to dream
So all can sit so quietly
Realizing mistakes of hate and pain
And finding a way to be again

Then upon the moment of simplicity’s end
When that wish I plucked is placed back in
I hope with all my heart and being
That some how the lost have found their soul…
And the anger inside is at last dulled.

That’s not a childish wish at all. 🙂
