I spend my days staring in thought
At a ceiling above so white and plain
Painting upon it with my imagination
Adventures so bold and brave.Full of Dragons, Castles, Spaceships and Knights
Princesses, Princes, Cats, Chickens and Dogs!
Stories more amazing than anything I could write
So magical, fantastical its hard to word them at all!Oh the adventures I have while staring in thought
At that ceiling above so white and plain
Painting a world more exciting for myself
But wishing so much just to share it all.
About The Author
Matty is a 36 year old girl who is an Autistic Poet, Writer and Artist and lives alone in Christchurch New Zealand with a kitty! Matty has given many talks on autism and about being unique in a world that's often not accepting, Matty has also engaged with artist and worked on Art projects Matty usually works on an Art project at the same time as a writing one! This means posts can be a bit delayed!

One Response and Counting...
This made me smile so very big and wide because I too dream while laying inside upon my bed looking through the window so big and wide. The clouds tumble by as they bring my dreams to life. but my imagination is not very creative so it’s puppies and kitties and birds that live in my stories of pets in my street where I abide. And so you see my dear friend Mattie my tales are dull and I bore myself so I would like very much hear a tale of your dragons that live in your head and just above your bed.
