    There was a day I was late for class
    And in a panic I ran so fast
    But I must have taken a very wrong turn
    For when I opened the door
    I was in shock for sure.

    It was not my class, oh no… not at all
    For in the room
    In front my eyes,
    Were animals
    And animals..

    The teacher who was an elephant, a purple one no less
    Wearing a bow tie, with a rather smart sounding voice
    Told me to sit and not distract the class.
    So I did… as confused as could be

    I took a seat next to a dinosaur,
    YES, an actual live dinosaur.
    And we began our lessons for the day.

    First we learned how to make animal noises…
    Which… was a bit strange since I had no “natural call”
    But with the help of the teacher elephant I learned a way
    And amazingly I said a-Oooooooooo and I was told I got an A

    Next we learned math… but not the normal way
    We had to count leaves on trees and decide how many we could eat.
    I guess if your an animal who eats many leaves in a day
    You probably would want to make sure there were left-overs
    But… oh boy, there were so many leaves.

    Next we had a quiz
    “What foot goes to who” it said
    And it was very difficult
    Good thing the dinosaur beside me whispered a few answers.

    And at last the bell rang, so out I went
    I was still confused… and rather shocked I should say,
    When did my school get an elephant teacher
    And since when did we have animal class?

    whats funny though, is once outside,
    I couldn’t find any of the animal kids at all
    So was it a dream?
    Or does my school have a secret.

    hmmm
