  • NB: I wrote this for my friend Marie while talking to her 🙂 It made me laugh.

    MARIE NEEDS A CHICKEN FRIEND

    There is a girl
    Her name is Marie
    She wants a chicken
    And so it should be

    But people say no
    It makes me quite sad
    I think people should have
    A chicken like that

    Can you just imagine
    All the great things
    Marie could do
    With a chicken Friend

    I bet they could play Uno
    And definitely snakes and ladders
    Not to mention the adventures
    I bet some would involve hammocks

    Oh its unfair
    I feel bad for marie
    More people should say yes
    Thats how it should be.

    I am sorry that Marie can’t have chickens. We had lots of them when I was a child. You don’t want a rooster, as they can be mean and noisy. The only problem with chickens is that they are a bit like cats. They only want to be your best friend when they are hungry. They love a pinata made using fruit or a vegetable. And they like chasing. You just have to roll a small grape on a hard surface, and the next thing, the chickens are sprinting after it. Good exercise.
