On the quietest of nights

  • NB: I am quite proud of this poem, and its one of the happier things I have written for quite a while now.

    On the quietest of nights

    On the quietest of nights
    With the clearest of skies
As you gaze at the stars
You may see with your eyes,
    The threads of the seams
    That hold all the dreams
    Wishes, Magic, Love and belief
    And for a brief moment
    If you look very deep
You can see your own dreams
    As you gently fall asleep.

That’s quite a sleepy little poem, Matty!
