To pick up a needle

  • NB: Written for Laura but for all 🙂

    To pick up a needle

To pick up a needle, a lifes calling
Its words whispered through my fingers worn
What it says, I do not know
For its tongue was lost an age ago
Till its finished going in and out.
I watch on with such awe
Watch each time it slowly emerges,
As a new story is told

Untill finally its reached the end
And all I can do is look on inspired
Then it passes and I go back again
Curious about what stories next told.
