Bad Luck Fudsy (Story)

  • NB: My wonderifical bestest neat counsellor and I were talking about Bad Luck Fudsy so I decided to write a story. Bad Luck Fudsy is a monster that follows me, Matty of MattyLand around causing me lots of bad luck. I want Fudsy to go away but… well Fudsy hasn’t yet. ONE DAY!!! Then maybe lots of wonderful things would come. Like a book!

If you spot any mistakes please let me know so I can fix them 🙂

    Bad Luck Fudsy

    Matty was grumpy
    Cranky and mad
    Even stompy
    And well… BLAH!

    But why was Matty so?
    What made things so bad,
    Mattys usually happy
    Things are usually grand!

    Well Matty was being followed
By a mean kind of creature
    The name of this monster…
    Was Bad Luck Fudsy

    Bad luck Fudsy,
As you can see by the name
    Was full of bad luck
    And that is a pain!

    Fudsy was not very nice
    As you can guess
    The monster would follow Matty
    Causing trouble everywhere!

When Matty would go to get a drink
Fudsy would jump out and scare!
    Making Matty spill it everywhere,
    Creating a big puddly mess!

When Matty went to open a drawer
Fudsy had got there just before!
And when Matty would reach for the handle
It would just come off and no drawer would open!

    As you can see,
Fudsy was being such major trouble!
Matty was upset, grumpy and tired
And wished Fudsy would dissappear forever!

    But sometimes these things
Need a little more than wishes and magic
    Sometimes they need cunning plans
    And big huge enormousness pondering!

So Matty thought of a trap
A trap that was so great
That Fudsy would be surely caught
And then the bad luck would go away!

    The trap was rather complicated
And if I can say, rather big
It had nets, a giant wheel
    Even five delicious cooked fish.

    The idea was that Fudsy,
would go and eat the fish
    Monsters love fish you know
And then a net would fall on top of him!

So when this trap was fully built
Matty waited for days and days
But no Bad Luck Fudsy showed up
    What had gone so wrong?

    Matty pondered this and wondered
As Fudsy watched from just near by
Why did this monster not get trapped
    Fish is their Favorite meal!

    And as Matty pondered
Bad Luck Fudsy thought up a plan
And using a rope and a toy car
Raced across and stole the fish!

It was more bad luck for Matty
Who was now a little bit sad
Not even a perfect trap could work
To get rid of Matty’s bad luck forever!

Matty thought of what had gone wrong,
Why had Bad Luck Fudsy not left him alone?
Was there a reason it was they…
Who had to deal with this big pain?

And while doing all that thinking
    Matty finally figured it out…
The reason for all the bad luck
And why Fudsy existed at all!

The reason for Bad Luck Fudsy
    Existing and following Matty around!
Is because without all the bad luck
How would we know when we had good luck at all?

So if you think you are being followed by Fudsy…
Know that without Bad Luck Fudsy no good luck could come…
It would just be luck, not good, not bad,
    And that would be boring…
    Rather… well bland!

    This conclusion was perfect
And it made a lot of sense!
So Matty was ok now with Bad Luck Fudsy,
    And who knows…

Maybe Fudsy will leave Matty alone soon.
