I Have Writers Block (Poem)

  • I Have Writers Block

I try to write like in days past…
    The words don’t come though,
    Trapped… Lost… Gone?
I end up staring into nothing,
Like a kind of empty void,
    Just… I guess thinking?
But not thinking as I use to.
Not so wild, visual, colourful and magical.
My hands they don’t dance across the keyboard while I do it.
    Nothing gets written…
Is something is wrong with me?
    Well, I don’t know…
    Whatever it is though…
I just hope the words come back soon…
    I feel lost without them,
    Maybe even scared?

Well, I think that you did a great job with your words in this poem, although I do understand the whole writers block thing! Hope the words that you really want come back soon.

  • Aww Writers block is a terrible curse may you soon be blessed by words running rainbows around your head. hugs Vanessa
