Empty Paper (Poem)

  • As I sit here staring at my paper
I wonder why my brain is empty
My fingers don’t seem to move
My eyes just don’t make any pictures

    That special something
    That amazing feeling
That… magic that made me glow
    It seems gone.. lost somehow
    Distant like another world

    I want that drive
    That vision,  that beauty
Those feelings that inspired me so
    I want them back…
    I need them back
    So I can draw…
    Just draw once more.

    Cheer up Matty!

  • Eeeps Matty it sods like you have drawers block instead of writers block. Fear not it will return. Maybe you could begin by just doodling and making patterns – it might unlock your block. Hugs Vanessa

*hug* It’s good to create even though you’re not inspired. It can jump start inspiration.

  • Hang in there Matty! Things will get better – your inspiration will return.

    *hugs*
