Off to explore. (Poem)

  • NB: As many of you know I am so busy! Things are happening for me so fast right now. So my writing will be slow for a while… I wrote this poem while I was thinking about everything. I am so excited… and I feel happy. Thank you everyone for your support.

    Off to Explore!

    I have spent so long alone
    Afraid of what’s outside
    Questioning my worth
    Pondering my life.

    And through this time alone
    I have learned quite a lot
    About love, hate, sorrow
    Tears, laughter and Joy.

    And now that I have learned these things
    I’m ready to step out again,
    I don’t know what I will find
    But I’m hopeful it will be good.

    So I’m sorry all that I’m stepping away
    For just a little bit…
    To explore this world I do not know
    With dreams of happiness.
