The best song (Children’s Poem)

  • NB: We all love different stuff and its great!

    The best song

    A girl said to me
I know what song is better
And she played the song so loudly
As I sat there and listened

When it finished I shook my head
    “Nah-Uh” I said!
    “I know a better song”
And so she listened to that one instead.

But then she shook her head!
    “No, No, No! She said”
So then she played another song
    “This one is best!”

    So I listened so quietly
    And thought for a bit
    And I said to her

“You know we all like different things,
    And that is okay
We can both think ours are best
    And still be friends anyway”

    We both smiled
    And we both agreed
    Being friends is great
    And our differences are okay!
