The Unicorn named Thunder (Children’s Poem)

  • The Unicorn named Thunder

In a place full of wonder
Lived a unicorn who I named Thunder
With a mane of rainbow colors,
And a horn that glowed so very bright
    She was so very beautiful
    The most magnificent of sights.

I watched her dance and prance for hours
As her hooves glowed with colour
And then to the sky she trotted high
On a rainbow that appeared before my eyes.

And in amazement I watched her go
As a trail of magical dust soon followed
A shimmering glitter that twinkled behind
That made me feel peace inside.

    After Thunder had faded away
I slowly sat in this wonderful place
And somehow I knew that things had changed
I knew my life would never be the same.
