Matty, this is a very sad poem. I presume this is how you are feeling currently. I am sorry you are so troubled and I wish I could take away your pain. You are obviously going through a very tough time. Please be kind to yourself. You are not broken, you are not unimportant and you are not useless. But you are feeling tired and defeated. Sometimes we have to cling to life by our fingertips until we find the strength to take one small step towards the future. Hold on my dear friend. “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
