The Storm

  • The Storm

The sky from light turned to dark,
    Them clouds of fury swept,
Soon the sky was so pitch black,
It was as if the day had left,

From out of nowhere rain then came,
    Then fear began to creep.
    People scattered into their homes,
    Then time began to cease.

    Lightning flashed, thunder boomed,
    The windows shook in fear,
    the wind howled loud,
    And a chill breeze came,
    The world had truly changed.

    Then when hope had faded,
    And the end felt near,
It disappeared just as it came,
and life once more was left as it was
    To continue on once again.
