Goodbye (The post is called that! I’m not going anywhere!)

  • NB: Not directed at anyone, I wrote this for a friend of mine who was talking to me about how she now has a gap between her and someone she loves 🙂

    Goodbye

There is a gap between us
A space that is so large
A hole that is so big
    We are forever pulled apart
How it is it got there,
    Is a mystery to me
    Its scary and intimidating
But it is as it is
I don’t think we can build a bridge
This void is just so big
I wish we fixed it while it grew
But times a constant you see…
I wish we could work it out
But some things can’t be mended…
So this is a goodbye for now
A goodbye that might be forever.

Goodbyes like this are hard and ususally sad…… I always try and say “see you later” in difiicult times or even if you know you won’t see someone for a long time cos it’s not so final. It means there is a chance you might see them again. But that’s just me 🙂
