Swishytail… The First!
Have so many secrets
It could fill a kingdom or twoI suppose I could share one
If you don’t tell anyone else…
It would be disastrous
If the enemy Clucks found out.You see my secret is…
I am not as brave as I appear to be
There is just one thing I am afraid of…
And that is…Dragons
You see twice a week,
A dragon in my kingdom awakes
It is rather shiny and red, with a thin black tail
It has buttons and a long black hose neck
Also a mouth that’s rather circle to match…And as soon as I see it being woken up
I get over-run with fear,
I don’t know what overcomes me…
I just feel I must run away!And its not long after I see it waking
That I hear it begin to make some noise
It usually slowly begins to Grrr
Though it sounds more like VRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrUnlike dragons in most books though
This dragon has wheels and not wings…
It rolls quite close to the floor,
And with its mouth down eats everything it can possibly see!I hide until it goes back to sleep
Or should I say… I make a tactical retreat
And when its asleep I sneak back out
Pretending I was just out on an adventure
And missed the whole thing!So that is one of my big secrets
That I am actually afraid of something!
Never let the enemy clucks know though,
They may use it against me!

Maybe it’s a secret that all cats share – a similar dragon lives in my house and my cats also beat a tactical retreat when it wakes! Hmm – and we have clucks around here as well – I’d better make sure I keep the secret!
