Like a Ghost (Dark Poem) :(

  • NB: Lots in my head lately, I don’t usually write such dark poems.

    Like a Ghost (Dark Poem)

I feel like a ghost sometimes
    An unimportant problem,
    Just another name… a number
Lost in a sea of paper.

    I feel so lonely…
Even though people are around me,
    Swallowed up by a system…
    That creates fear and anxiety.

I keep on trying to shout…
But only seem to make whispers,
    I feel consumed by fear,
    Controlled by uncertainty.

    And through all of this…
    I begin to ponder a question…
    Something  dark and terrifying,
It aches my heart and makes me shiver…

    Am I becoming forgotten?

In the busyness of people’s worlds Matty they get distracted witht the things that are happening around them.
It may make you feel forgotten but am sure you are constantly in their thoughts
