Look for the light (Poem – HOPE)

NB: I know this time of year for many people can be hard, scary and rough. I wrote this… actually a while ago, just never shared it. Seems like now is a good time to share it 🙂 I love you all so very much.
Look for the light.
Some days are dark
Some are even darker
But in that darkness
So consuming, fear-ridden and cold…
There is light…
There is light if you look hard enough.It may be small…
Just the flicker of a candle,
Just the ember from a flame that once roared-
But in that darkness…In that cold,
Such a small light can burn so bright,
Such a small light can be so warm.So I beg of you…
All of you…
When you find yourselves there,
Find yourself in that consuming darkness
Cold… and afraid…I beg of you to look for a light,
To look so very hard.
It may be difficult to see-
Just a flicker… just an ember
But its there… Its there…
Believe me that its there.When you find that light…
Use it, Use it to guide your way…
Use it to find the path,
The path that you need
The way out…
To that place where light is plentiful.And remember this please…
Remember this truth through it all.
You are not alone…
For here I am,
Sharing with you my soul
A thought away…
Just a thought away.

I think this goes for all of us…… look for the light as it is always there. Sometimes it may be a tiny flicker in the distance BUT it is there. Well written, Matty Angel.
