Big Dreams! (Children’s poem!) – HAPPY!!!!

  • NB: This has been going through my head for a few days now 🙂

    Big Dreams

    Wouldn’t it be neat if all my dreams were really here!
    With everything I think about becoming real and true right there!

    Like my bedroom, well, It will be full!
    Chocolate, ice cream, cake and jelly!
    And piles of toys that touch the roof!
    I would never be bored or want anything

    I could even have elephants… maybe even three!
    I would call the Trunks and Trunkies and Trunkle
    I could even ride them to school!

    In my back yard
    … I would have a castle
    It would be so big, three times my house
    With a moat and even a dragon!

    And when I eat at dinner time…

    Well no vegetables for me!
    I would dream up Pizza…
    Burgers, hot dogs and chips!
    It would be delicious,
    EVERY NIGHT OF THE WEEK!

    SIGH! Its to bad my drams aren’t here
    Very real and true right there…
    But maybe its a good thing? Maybe?
    I mean I would dream a lot of stuff…
    Maybe even just to much?

    Who would feed those elephants?
    Look after the dragon?
    Who would eat all that food… Dinner might get boring!
    Also that’s a lot of chocolate, ice cream cake and jelly….

    And piles of toys that touch the roof?
    Gosh…
    I would never get to play with them all!
    That is a lot of toys… Perhaps to many.

    And as for having a castle… well…
    I mean, I pretend all the time, but three times my house might be to big
    So for now I will keep to pretending.
    Having it real might not be so great.
