SPACECAT! (Poem)

  • NB: A cute little poem for a friend of mine in hospital, maybe you all will enjoy it too? 🙂 Illustrated by a special friend of mine Cat!!! I had no idea she could draw so awesome! PS thanks to an Australian Unicorn spelling errors have been fixed. 


    Space-Cat

     

    Up out therespacecat edited

    Somewhere, somewhere
    Beyond where eyes can peer
    A fluffy hero sits inside their ship
    Their tail flicking everywhere

    You wouldn’t know this super secret
    Not unless I told,
    So don’t tell anyone I told you,
    I promised I wouldn’t share at all.

    But our whole world! This very one!
    It keeps being saved over and over
    And our great hero has a very grand name
    Space-Cat! Bestest Awesomest Saviour of the world!

    Like this one time from a planet of ostriches!
    THEY ONLY HAVE TWO TOES YOU KNOW!
    They wanted us to be like them
    I’m so glad Space-Cat could stop them

    Oh and then there was this time with pirates
    Space pirate Zebras don’t you know!
    They were hopping on space pogo sticks
    Trying to plunder cheese all over

    Then there was this one time…
    Space-Cat really, really showed their awesome!
    Alien octopus-like creatures were going to blow earth up!
    When Super-Cat showed them the greatness of tuna sandwiches!

    So you may be wondering,
    How do I know all this!
    Well… I met this cat while on a walk
    And they told me all this truth!

    So next time you worry
    If our worlds about to end
    Think.. Space-Cat
    Cause they are up there somewhere!
