Try Your best (poem, childrens)

  • Try Your best

No matter what it is you do
What it is that you enjoy,
Always give things a great big try
And do the best than you can do.

By giving your best you never have to say
“What if I did it this way?
“What could I have done more?”
Because your best is everything you have
And that should be enough for all.

And if you feel your best
    Is not what you expected
    Don’t feel bad,
    It was still your best
Be proud you tried at all.

It’s better to try than not at all. I’m glad you feel that way. *hug*

  • Hugs and hugs. You always work so hard and try so hard. You’re amazing, and I love you very much. Oh, and it’s a wonderful poem 🙂

  • And you should be proud ☺

  • Meet you at the Library today, and come home and looked you up. So pleased to have come across you. Have read your poems to my 7 year old. Her reply “she is very good”, and I agree! Congratulations Matty Angel.
