NB: A young man once asked an old man, one who had seen so much… If you had the chance to have another life, would you take it up? And the Old man looked back, he thought back upon his life been… and although he was usually one of silence, he said back to him.
This Life
I have shed so many tears,
Through the years
That I have been…I have seen so many things,
Things I wish…
I had never seen.I am not sure why…
It was I…
Who had to live this life,But I am glad
That I have…
And I will tell you why.Because in this life…
I smiled,
In this life I laughedIn this life
I looked with awe
At beauty created by miracles.But most of all
And this is a secret
One that I hold close…In this life,
I experienced love…
And I learned what it meant to be loved…This alone has made every tear,
Every dark night slept,
Worth the trouble and all the pain felt…I would gladly go through it all again.

Matty is a 36 year old girl who is an Autistic Poet, Writer and Artist and lives alone in Christchurch New Zealand with a kitty! Matty has given many talks on autism and about being unique in a world that's often not accepting, Matty has also engaged with artist and worked on Art projects Matty usually works on an Art project at the same time as a writing one!
