    Please, A request

    It is hard to be different
    In how you think
    In what you say
    Its hard to do things
    That others can’t explain

    But just because I’m different…
    Doesn’t mean I should be locked away
    I am human too…
    Not an “It”
    And not a “Pain”

    I have the right to be here
    Just like you do too…
    So when you pass me on the street
    Keep your judgements away from me.

    Respect me just like I respect you
    Don’t stare at me so evilly…
    Don’t say and use horrible words…
    Let me exist peacefully

    I know this is such a big thing to ask
    But I will ask it anyway,
    That’s because I still have hope
    In humanity and society…

    I believe we have come so far,
    That as a people we have grown
    That these last hurdles can be jumped
    So please take my request on board…
    Treat me as an equal…

    Lets create a future for everyone.
