Time… The greatest gift we have

  • NB: I wrote this in under 6 minutes… I am sorry for mistakes.

    Time… The greatest gift we have

    In our lives we can get busy
    Caught up in the unimportant
    Distracted within ourselves…
    Lost… in a void of rushing chaos.

    We must make it our mission,
    As human beings with this flaw
    To make sure that we don’t fall into a pit
    One of self consumption,
    Of ignorance, hurt and greed

    We must keep that resource,
    Time…
    The greatest gift we have,
    For the world that surrounds us…
    Our world.

    For other humans
    For sorrow,
    For joy…
    For life.

    We must do this Before we get a chance…
    One to look back,
    To shed tears
    To take a breath
    And fill that Void that once rushed with chaos
    With nothing but regret.
