NB: Today I went to see a production put on by Jolt Dance (A dance company in Christchurch New Zealand providing dance opportunities for disabled and special needs children and adults.) and I want to dance. And its making me excited.
What love can do.
Today I saw what love can do-
And what I saw was beautiful.I saw how it can Empower and strengthen
I saw how it can heal too.Today I heard laughter,
And it was so contagiousI felt the joy and saw the smiles
It was miraculously warmToday I saw inclusion
I had never truly seen it beforeI felt the hope and possibilities
I thought of what I could doToday I was happy and excited
And I its making me dream big.
About The Author
Matty is a 37 year old girl who is an Autistic Poet, Writer and Artist and lives alone in Christchurch New Zealand with a kitty! Matty has given many talks on autism and about being unique in a world that's often not accepting, Matty has also engaged with artist and worked on Art projects Matty usually works on an Art project at the same time as a writing one!
