The proper way to name a cat
Upon a meeting a cat you will find out quick
That Magnificence demands such incredible names to fit.
To call a cat Andrew, Pete or Blue, Stacey, Polly or Cat…
Well that just won’t do.For to name a cat you must follow one rule
There name must be grand to announce to a room
An example of such of which I will share,
Is Sir Meowsington of Meowsly.
So listen close please.Say there was a cat door to the wonderful cat ball
And a cat came through just as they should
A cats name must work to be shouted to all
So that all in a room can marvel in awe*Cough* Sir Meowsington of Meowsly, Owner of 3 cat baskets and 1 hat.
Now all in the room will turn their heads
The name will speak wonders, amazement and gasps
And as Sir Meowsington of Meowsly walks past all
To find a place to curl up warm, all around will gossip and stare
“How did one cat become so spectacular” they will share.So next time you find yourself naming a cat
Remember the ball where Sir Meowsington went
And think of the announcers who will introduce them to the room
Ponder if their name is grand enough to do.And How do I know all this?
Well lets just say,
I was whispered these secrets by a cat of such fame
Princess Nom Nom Booksitting Bagsleeping Fattycat Swishytail The First, Ruler of the Kingdom of Bedroom
Heir to the Throne of Matty, First in line to the couch
