Friendship and Autism. (poem)

  • NB: Autism and communication have cost me many friendships in my life, but recently it took someone who I thought was so, so amazing… and so this is what I feel.

    Friendship and Autism. (poem)

    I am sorry.
I am not the best of friends sometimes.
    I make mistakes.
    I do the wrong thing…
I don’t do well without instructions.

Am I contacting to much? To little?
    I need to know.
Have I said the wrong thing?
You may need to tell me.

This autism thing… I hate it so much
    It ruins so many things…
    But friendship…
Well I don’t want it to Ruin friendship too.
