My Greatest Gift

  • When the darkness creeps
    While I am sitting alone,
Huddled in my fears and tears
A comfort thought is always there.
To be by you, by your side,
hand in hand against the fright
and its this thought that holds me so
Keeping me from the horrors that grow
So much I owe you, no words can equal
No gold could stack to its worth
    Thank you for just existing
It has been my greatest gift.
